For SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake I was working on cutscenes, together with the very talented Gabriel Schönangerer and David and Markus Zahradnicek (Wobblersound). This was a very fun experience and I’m happy how the game turned out.

Terrain

TERRAIN is an expanded cinema project which brings together dance, documentary film, 360-degree immersive video, virtual interactivity and spatial design into a multimedia story environment. TERRAIN creates a new kind of global community built with nonverbal language. It unites us through our shared experience of the body, proposing a communal art experience amidst our global health crisis. World Premiering in September 2020 at Biennale di Venezia Cinema, TERRAIN is an official selection of Venice VR Expanded.

Terrain is a journey into the Bardo: an otherworldly space between lives where we find an array of souls from across the world. We slip and at once fall in, leaving the everyday behind.

This docu-dream is a story without words using the language of movement. Through a vivid and surreal landscape, each person encounters a series of distinct individuals and slowly rediscovers a larger collective body. Terrain is a dancing unison of difference. Our bodies bridge gaps between worlds, and with this we invent a new kind of non-verbal truth.

This new interconnectedness propels us back to life again, essentialized by our shared sense of interbeing.

This work creates a new kind of community with an experimental union of art and technology. It invites us to be more aware of our bodies, and to find belonging in something larger than ourselves—a global “us” that needs attention and love. Terrain presents the unknown as an ally and is meant to inspire new means for collective intimacy.

I was working on the audio implementation in unity as well as the audio mix.

A RIDE IN 2049 is a transmedia virtual reality experience in which users can travel in a virtual tour of Frankfurt, Chicago and Los Angeles in 2049. Mobility of the future will frame the event as a central theme and show how deeply and comprehensive computer-controlled mobility will shape our cities.

Working on the latest South Park game was one of the most fun tasks in my recent career. My tasks were mainly focused on finding implementation solutions for puzzles as well as providing sound-design for them.

I’ve also had the chance to work on one of the DLC called „From Dusk till Casa Bonita“.

For „Beyond Medusas Gate“ Gate my main task was to set up the technical pipeline, adjust scripts together with the programming department and also take care of the communication in the initial phase of the project.

„Two or four players team up and have 60 minutes to find a way out of a vast Aegean coastal cave where the legendary ship of the Argonauts is anchored. To successfully escape, players must use cooperative teamwork, problem-solving skills and precise timing to solve riddles and find their way out of this room-scale experience.“

Anno 1800

Anno 1800

Anno 1800 can be considered as my main project during my time with Ubisoft Bluebyte.

I was responsible for the communication with the team in Mainz, setting up all implementation features, together with the programming department in Mainz, create Sound Design for all aspects of the game, take care of the music system, developing a Voice Over Workflow and maintain this systems. I was taking care of part the audio-production side of things as well.

During this time I had the chance to create a video to provide Anno fans with a small overview on how audio implementation is working in Anno 1800. Even tough this video provides a good overview of our work, please keep in mind that this video was created for fans and not for audio professionals only. A ride in 2049

For „Escape The Lost Pyramid“ I had the chance to work on that project over the whole course of the project. I was working on implementation tasks, sound-design, music and also voice-over.

„Escape The Lost Pyramid“ is an escape game in Virtual Reality, taking place in the world of Assassin’s Creed Origins.

„An expedition led by Sir Beldon Frye disappears somewhere in the Sinai Peninsula. A team of four and a dozen local porters were looking for the Lost Pyramid of Nebka… Or more precisely, “something” that should have been there. They were never seen again. Using the simulation reconstructed from their DNA memory, your team will put themselves in the shoes of the explorers. Find out what happened to the expedition. And more importantly, locate what they were looking for.“
